When you press your help button, your device instantly connects you to our 24/7 US-based monitoring center. An EMT-trained operator will speak with you over the device's two-way speaker to assess your situation. They will then dispatch the appropriate help—whether it's a neighbor, family member, or emergency services—and stay on the line with you until help arrives.
Do I need a landline for the system to work?
No, you do not need a landline. While we do offer traditional landline systems, most of our popular models use cellular technology (AT&T or Verizon networks) to connect wirelessly. This works just like a cell phone but is built directly into the device, so you don't need your own cell phone or contract.
Does the mobile GPS button work outside the house?
Yes! Our On-the-Go GPS systems work anywhere there is cellular coverage. Whether you are at the grocery store, on a walk, or visiting family in another state, you are protected. The GPS technology allows our operators to pinpoint your exact location to send help directly to you.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. At Safe Alert 24-7, we do not require long-term contracts. Our service is month-to-month, and you can cancel at any time without penalty. We want you to stay with us because you love our service, not because you are locked into a contract.
What if I fall and can't press the button?
We highly recommend our Automatic Fall Detection feature. This advanced technology uses sensors to detect the distinct movement patterns of a fall. If a fall is detected, the device will automatically place a call to our monitoring center, even if you are unable to press the button yourself.
Is the equipment expensive?
The equipment is included at no upfront cost with your subscription! You simply pay the monthly monitoring fee. If you ever cancel the service, you just return the equipment to us.
