You may cancel your order before it ships without any penalty. To cancel an order that has not yet shipped:

- Provide your order number and reason for cancellation
If your order has not yet shipped, you will receive a full refund of any charges paid, including shipping costs.

Important: Cancellation must be received at least 5 business days before your next billing date to avoid charges for the following month.
3. No Long-Term Contracts
We do not require long-term contracts. Our services are billed on a month-to-month basis, giving you the flexibility to cancel whenever you choose. There are no cancellation fees or penalties for ending your service.
4. Refunds After Service Cancellation
Upon cancellation of your monitoring service:
- Pre-paid monthly fees are non-refundable for the current billing period
- No refund is provided for partial months of service
- Any pre-paid annual fees may be eligible for a prorated refund upon request
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days of verification
5. Equipment Return
When you cancel your service, you may be required to return any leased or rented equipment. Please follow these guidelines:
- Return all equipment within 30 days of cancellation
- Use the original packaging if available
- Obtain a shipping tracking number for your records

Note: Equipment must be returned in working condition. Failure to return equipment may result in equipment fees charged to your account.
6. Equipment Purchases
If you purchased equipment outright (not leased):
- Equipment is yours to keep after cancellation
- No return is required unless you choose to return it under our 30-day money-back guarantee
- Purchased equipment is not eligible for refund after the 30-day guarantee period
7. Cancellation of Pending Orders
If you need to cancel an order that is being processed or has shipped:
- Before shipment: Full refund including shipping
- After shipment: Refund of product cost minus shipping charges (product must be returned unopened)
- Refused delivery: Refund of product cost minus shipping and handling charges
8. Automatic Renewal
Some of our services may offer subscription plans with automatic renewal. You will be notified before any automatic renewal occurs. To cancel automatic renewal:
- Contact us at least 5 days before your renewal date
- Log into your account and disable auto-renewal
- Email us at info@safealert247.com with your cancellation request
9. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
In certain circumstances, exceptions may be made to our standard cancellation policy:
- Medical reasons: If you can provide documentation of a medical condition that prevents use of our product
- Move outside service area: If you relocate to an area where our service is not available
- Military deployment: For customers in the military being deployed
